Story
Marrakech is the ochre city — the one that gave Morocco its name, where the walls are pressed from red earth and the Koutoubia minaret is the spine the whole skyline is built around. By day the souks pull you into alleys of lanterns, leather, and spice; by night Jemaa el-Fnaa ignites into an open-air theatre of storytellers, food stalls, and drumbeats that has run for a thousand years. Behind anonymous medina doors hide the riads that have welcomed travellers for nine centuries.
This is for the traveller who wants immersion — the heat, the noise, the colour turned all the way up. It is not for the seeker of quiet; the medina gives nothing gently, and it asks for three days minimum before it begins to open.
