Story
The Saadian Tombs are a royal burial complex in Marrakech’s Kasbah district. The Chamber of the Twelve Columns contains the tomb of Sultan Ahmed al-Mansour; decorated chambers and garden graves reveal the artistry of the Saadian court.
Look closely at the marble carving and tiled surfaces, while respecting the funerary setting. Check current entry arrangements before visiting and allow time for queues at the smaller viewing spaces.
