The experience
Rather than sell the springs and cedar country as unrelated stops, this field walk follows the idea of water leaving the Middle Atlas. At the public spring area, an interpreter distinguishes source landscape from recreational infrastructure; later, a cedar-edge stop explores shade, soil and watershed protection. The road does not claim access to every spring channel or forest track, and wildlife feeding is excluded. Its appeal is intellectual as much as scenic: travellers leave with a mental model of how upland water supports places far downstream. Local food or a forest picnic can be attached only where waste, fire risk, permission and a named host are properly managed.
