Oued El Abid Gorge Guided Walk
Ifrane River, in the Oued Ifrane commune. It originates in the Middle Atlas and flows into the Baht Valley in Morocco.
The experience
The Oued El Abid appears on Azilal's official visitor map as more than the water below Ouzoud. This guided activity follows a locally selected public path or overlook to read the gorge as a system: limestone edges, seasonal flow, terraces and the road network that links villages above it. The guide's job is not to hurry walkers toward an unnamed bathing pool, but to identify safe observation points and connect what is visible to the wider M'Goun landscape. Families can book a short visual walk; stronger hikers can attach a longer road only after conditions are checked. Water quality, depth and swimming safety are never inferred from scenery.
