Khemisset Oulmes Moulay Bouazza Upland

Khemisset is the capital of the Zemmour region, set on the plateau between Rabat and the Middle Atlas, and it is the centre of the rural commune life and crafts of the Zemmour Berber tribes.

This physical road follows Khemisset → Oulmes.

This activity uses the National Museum of Photography as a starting vocabulary, then tests composition against the fort's Atlantic surroundings. Inside, participants discuss how a current exhibition frames subject, sequence and authorship; outside, they work with horizon, defensive geometry, salt haze and moving coastal light from safe public ground. It is a critique walk, not a promise of golden-hour weather or rooftop access.

Kaak Rbati is Rabat’s almond-centered interpretation of the kaak family. Culinary references distinguish it from dry anise rings by its almond-paste component, which can appear as a filling or define the biscuit’s richer texture. A careful maker balances ground almond, sugar and floral or citrus perfume against a thin wheat shell, then shapes a ring or another attributed Rabati form and bakes it without drying the center.
