Story
Had Soualem is a town on the Casablanca–Settat highway, grown fast around industry, logistics, and one of Morocco's largest dairy groups, whose headquarters and plants anchor the local economy. The "Had" — "new" — marks it as a market foundation, a planned town serving the Chaouia plain's rich farmland. Today it is a working commuter and industrial satellite of Casablanca: warehouses, depots, new housing, and the constant traffic of trucks on the road to Marrakech and the south.
This is for the traveller with business in the Chaouia industrial belt, or breaking the highway south. It is functional and modern; come for the practical stop, not for atmosphere — the plain is its whole setting.
