The experience
This valley walk is built around two things a fast scenic drive misses: the channels that distribute scarce water and the elevated communal architecture that once organised storage and security. Starting from a host-confirmed village, a resident interpreter explains field boundaries, earthen building maintenance and the difference between a lived home and a monument. The road may include an exterior view of a collective granary, but entry is never presumed. It is a good fit for architecture, food-system and family-history travellers because the valley is encountered as a working place. Purchases, tea and home visits occur only through explicit local offers, never as staged entitlement.
