- brown sugar
- butter
- acorn squash
- olive oil
- garlic cloves
- celery
- carrots
- garbanzo beans
- raisins
- ground cumin
- salt and pepper
- chicken broth
- couscous
Preparation
- 1preheat oven to 350 degrees f
- 2arrange squash halves cut side down on a baking sheet
- 3bake 30 minutes , or until tender
- 4dissolve the sugar in the melted butter
- 5brush squash with the butter mixture , and keep squash warm while preparing the stuffing
- 6heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
- 7stir in the garlic , celery , and carrots , and cook 5 minutes
