The experience
Atalayoun is the place to read Marchica as water, shore and planned waterfront in the same walk. From the peninsula, changing angles reveal the lagoon's scale, Nador's urban edge and Gourougou behind it. The activity should be a paced public-realm circuit led by a birding or landscape guide, not an implication that every marina, hotel or private development is open. Stops can cover lagoon restoration, water exchange, wintering birds and the choices involved in developing a sensitive shoreline. Early morning brings calmer observation; evening emphasizes city light and silhouette.
