Story
N'Kob is a town of forty-some old ksour at the foot of the Saghro massif — the volcanic badland that bridges the High Atlas and the desert, and a crossroads between the Draa Valley and the Tafilalet. Its mud-brick villages cluster along the palmerie, and the town has long been the supply point for trekkers crossing the Saghro or driving the back-road loop toward Tazzarine and the deep south. The dates here are the currency of autumn.
This is for the trekker heading into the Saghro, and the traveller who wants the ksar country without the Ouarzazate traffic. It is not a polished stop; its gift is the architecture and the silence of the volcanic heights.
