Story
Mohammedia is the quiet Atlantic city between Casablanca and Rabat — a working port town built around the kingdom's main oil refinery, with a stretch of sandy beach that draws Casablanca families on summer weekends. Once called Fedala, it was renamed after independence, and it carries the plainness of a place that works for a living: an industrial harbour, a marina, a couple of beach clubs, and a calm seafront. The pace is slower than its two giant neighbours, and the rent is cheaper, and that is the whole of its appeal.
This is for the traveller who needs a stop on the Casablanca-Rabat axis, or a beach day without the Agadir price. It is not a cultural destination; its honesty is in being ordinary.
