Story
On Casablanca’s Atlantic waterfront, Hassan II Mosque brings carved wood, plaster, marble and zellij into a monumental place of worship. It was inaugurated in 1993.
The foundation offers guided visits through the prayer hall, minaret hall and ablution room. Check its current timetable and admission rules, and dress respectfully. Allow time to look at the craftsmanship as well as the ocean setting.
