Story
El Ksiba is a mountain market town on the southern slope of the Middle Atlas — the last real place before the road climbs the Tizi n'Tirherhouzine pass toward Imilchil and the high country. It is a centre for the surrounding Amazigh villages, its souk gathering the wool, the livestock, and the news of the heights. The air is cooler than the plain below, the country rockier, and the cedars begin not far uphill.
This is for the traveller climbing into the Atlas by road, or the one seeking the market towns that anchor mountain life. It is not a resort; its gift is its altitude and its crossroads.
