Story
Aousserd is a commune deep in the interior of Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab — an administrative and pastoral settlement in the open desert, well inland of the coastal road, where the life of the region keeps its own measure and the distances define the days. It has the character of a true frontier of the kingdom: a place held by persistence, by administration, and by the families who have made it theirs.
This is for the overland traveller on the full southern crossing, who comes understanding that the deep interior asks for everything and gives back a singular experience. It is not a place for the unprepared; its gift is the honest welcome of the far south, on its own terms.
