Story
Ajdir is a small town on the Mediterranean coast near Al Hoceima, and it carries a weight beyond its size: it is the birthplace of Abdelkrim el-Khattabi, the Rif leader who held the Spanish and French armies at bay in the 1920s, and a symbolic heart of Rifian identity. The town sits between the sea and the mountains, and life turns on fishing, small trade, and the pride of place. The beaches of the national park stretch nearby, their coves less crowded than Al Hoceima's.
This is for the traveller drawn to the history of the Rif, and the coast at its quietest. It is a small place with a large story; come for the memory of Abdelkrim and the unspoiled coves.

- Al Hoceima National Park Coastal Guided Walk
A coastal walk in Al Hoceima National Park should reveal connections that a beach transfer misses. A trained guide can link cliff vegetation, drainage gullies, fishing settlements, offshore water and the small coves cut into the Bokkoya coast, choosing a road matched to current authorization and the group's ability. There is no fixed promise to reach an isolated beach; the product remains worthwhile if conditions limit it to a ridge and village-edge circuit.
- Al Hoceima
Al Hoceima looks across a Mediterranean bay from the Rif coast. The harbour, Quemado Beach and seafront viewpoints offer different ways to explore the city, while the national park protects coastal and marine habitats farther west.
- Boyoza di Purim
Boyoza di Purim is a festive Moroccan Jewish bread identified by the whole egg baked into or secured on the loaf. Its exact dough, decoration and spelling travel through family lines, especially in northern Sephardic communities where Haketia preserved Iberian and Moroccan vocabulary together.
