Geschichte
M'diq ist eine kleine Mittelmeer-Ferienstadt zwischen Martil und Fnideq, gebaut um eine geschützte Marina — Marina Smir —, die Yachten, Wohnblocks und eine Promenade an das brachte, was einst ein ruhiges Fischerdorf war. Die Spanier kannten sie als Rincón, und im Sommer füllen die Familien von Tétouan und Tanger ihren Strand und ihre Eisstände. Sie ist sauberer und erschlossener als ihre Nachbarn, mit einer ruhigen Bucht, gut zum Schwimmen, und einer kurzen Corniche, die den Abendspaziergang beschließt.
Das ist für den Familien-Strandurlaub und den Marina-Halt, nicht für Kultur oder Einsamkeit. Sie wird im Hochsommer voll; die Übergangsmonate belohnen einen ruhigeren Besuch.
