الصويرة هي زفرة الأطلسي — ميناء مسوَّر ببيوت مبيضّة ومصرّعات زرقاء، ومشاوي السمك تدخّن على الميناء، وريح أطلسيّة ثابتة جعلتها عاصمة المملكة لركوب الأمواج والطائرات الورقيّة. والمدينة العتيقة صغيرة قابلة للمشي، والأسوار مواجهة للبحر، وضوء الساعة الذهبيّة هو سبب إبقاء الرسّامين لاستوديوهاتهم فيها. ويُشاع أنّ جيمي هندريكس زارها؛ أمّا النورس فأمرها يقين. وهي الفرار الطبيعيّ لليومين من مراكش، وألطف مدخل إلى ساحل المملكة.
هذه للمسافر الذي يريد بحراً وريحاً ومدينة عتيقة يعبرها في عصر — الساحل المبدع مقطَّراً. وليست لمن يريد الاستحمام في ماء ساكن؛ فالريح التي تحرّك الطائرات الورقيّة لا هوادة فيها منتصف الصيف.
