الحكاية
أزمور بلدةٌ أطلسيّة صغيرة على وادي أم الربيع، حومتها القديمة محصّنةٌ بأسوارٍ برتغاليّةٍ ومطلّيةٌ — كالشاون — بألوانٍ، هنا من أزرق خافتٍ وطينٍ أحمر. وكانت عبر القرون ملتقى المسلمين واليهود، ومنها ظهر كبيرُ المتصوّفة اليهود المغاربة الحاخام إبراهيم مول نيسّ، الذي ما زال ضريحه يستقطب الزوّار حتى اليوم. والمدينة العتيقة صغيرة هادئة، يزيد زينُها جداريّاتُ الفنّانين المحلّيّين يوماً بعد يوم، ويمتدّ شاطئ النهر تحت الأسوار. وهي أليف وأقلّ زواراً بكثيرٍ من الجديدة على الساحل إلى الشمال.
هذا لمسافرٍ يطلب مدينةً عتيقةً أطلسيّةً هادئة، ونهراً، وميراثاً مشتركاً للمسلمين واليهود في مشيةٍ قصيرة. أتِ للجداريّات، والضريح، وبعد الظهيرة البطيء.
